Cupping therapy has recently become one of the more well known alternative medicines and has been growing in use, with strange images of celebrities popping around with round marks all over their backs. Cupping therapy, also known as hijamah is also a sunnah, first and foremost and was advised by the prophet muhammad pbuh. In this video we show you how to perform cupping therapy at home without the need to go to expensive workshops or chinese herbal stores to get it done. You can do it with your spouse if you learn the basics of cupping and perform the sunnahs of cupping therapy by doing the three spots mentioned in the video. There are ofcourse other spots which you can do but to get you started these are the best places to do it. Cupping therapy helps aid a number of ailments and will get you feeling fresh and springy. But some of you may feel tired after the initial cupping session due to the loss of blood and the body regenerating new blood cells. In this case it is a good idea to have some glucose to get your energy levels back up. Although you should consult a doctor for any complications. I however do cupping every month and alhamdullilah, without any risks or pain, you will even see i make the incisions on my hand in the video without flinching, that is how easy it is to do. There is very little pain involved in cupping, but make sure the person you are doing it with is soft and not brutal!
If you have any other questions please do ask in the comments below, I would be more than happy to answer them inshaAllah.

Please ask any questions below...
Does it hurt?
If you have someone that is rough and doing the pumps too hard it can be uncomfortable, and obviously if they do the cuts too deep and too long it will hurt.. BUT if you do it properly as advised in the video you will not feel any discomfort, some discomfort is good as you know the suction cups are on tight, if you feel nothing, sometimes it means its too loose. The cuts need to be miniscule, downwards and not go too deep.0 Like
